ASEM LLL Hub Chair, Dr Séamus Ó Tuama, welcomes the recent confirmation that the Irish Government has agreed a funding structure for the Hub for the next five years. Funding is being provided by two Irish government departments, the Department of Education & Skills and the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, with additional support being provided by University College Cork. The ASEM LLL Hub will be housed in ACE (Adult Continuing Education) at University College Cork. Ireland’s hosting of the Hub will be officially launched later this year, most likely in conjunction with ASEM Lifelong Learning Hub Forum 2020, which will be hosted online on October 13th – 15th. The Forum will also draft and adopt a five year plan for ASEM LLL Hub.
