Background
In the framework of the Asia-Europe Meeting’s (ASEM) education process, the DAAD coordinates the ASEM Education Expert Group Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.

As part of a continuous webinar series on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education, the Expert Group on Digitalisation and AI, in cooperation with the ASEM Education Secretariat (AES), has already organised the following public online seminars:
- 2023: “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Learning & Teaching in Higher Education”
- 2024: “Best Practices on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education”
This series aims to explore the evolving role of AI in higher education, share good practices and foster dialogue among ASEM partners.
The target groups are university staff (teachers, administrators, managers), business representatives as well as students; other education stakeholders are equally welcome.
The date of the online seminar will be 23 September 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 CEST. The language of the seminar will be English.
