Background<\/h2>\n

The ASEF Capacity Building Training on Equitable Access to Higher Education builds on the ideas and policy recommendations developed during the\u00a07th ASEF Rectors\u2019 Conference and Students\u2019 Forum (ARC7) in Bucharest<\/a>, Romania, from 11-15 May 2019. The policy recommendations developed both by the rectors and the students underlined the need to ensure equitable access to higher education (HE). The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), the National Education Opportunities Network (NEON), and The University of Edinburgh are taking action and organising a capacity building training for university managers on this matter. The Capacity Building Training is organised in conjunction with\u00a0World Access to Higher Education Day (WAHED) 2019<\/a>, taking place on 26 November 2019 at the University of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
