The Asia-Europe Institute<\/strong> has launched the 2019 edition of the AEI-ASEM Summer School<\/strong> which takes place from 11-17 June at the University of Mala<\/strong>ya, Malaysia and from 20-29 June at the University of Limerick, Ireland. <\/strong><\/p>\n The AEI-ASEM Summer School is a 2-weeks programme consisting of a series of lecture modules and relevant field trips to attract the flow of European students to Asia towards promoting balanced mobility. The Summer School is also open to participants from other countries. With the second half of the Summer School held in Limerick, Ireland, it will also attract Asian students to Europe.<\/p>\n The modules follow a coherent approach that introduces Malaysia and its cultural diversity to the participants, within the context of multiculturalism and religious pluralism in Asia and Europe.The AEI-ASEM Summer School is driven by various eclectic approaches that emphasise interdisciplinary learning, intercultural exchanges, cultural immersion, and appreciation to inclusiveness, cultural diversity and harmony-building in the Asian region.
