On the 8th of June 2021 from 3:00 pm – 5.30 pm MYT<\/strong> the final conference of the Erasmus+ CBCHE Programme ‘BRECIL’ takes place.<\/p>\n BRECIL is a project acronym for Building Social Research Capacities in Higher Education Institutions in Lao PDR and Malaysia,<\/strong> an Erasmus+ CBHE programme that was conducted from 2017 to 2021. The project aimed to develop human capital and facilitate individual learning and institutional mechanisms in Social Science research<\/strong> in higher education institutions, both in Lao PDR and Malaysia.<\/p>\n The project consortium consists of two groups, one representing ASEAN, and the other representing EU countries, to provide maximum synergy effects to realize the project goals and objectives. The project is led by Universiti Malaya. The partner countries from ASEAN comprise two universities from Malaysia, Universiti Malaya, and Universiti Utara Malaysia, and two universities from Lao PDR, National University of Laos and Souphanouvong University. The programme countries from the EU are the University of Gothenburg, Sweden; International University SDI, Munich, Germany; and the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
